A masking tape manufacturer has been awarded the prestigious “Made in Britain” mark.

With the award it means JTAPE, the UK’s leading specialist masking tape and protective film manufacturer, will be recognised as making high quality, innovative and British-made products.

Based on Hulley Road, Macclesfield, JTAPE provides an extensive range of specialist tapes, protection films and masking solutions which are used across a range of industries including automotive refinishing, aerospace, manufacturing, DIY, and marine.

Tapes and protective films are currently sold in more than 50 countries and will now include the “Made in Britain” mark on all products.

Oliver Jevons, Managing Director, said: “We are very proud to be a UK manufacturer.

“Our customers both domestically and around the world know that British made means they will be purchasing a high-quality product which continuously goes through rigorous testing and efficient manufacturing procedures.

“We are already seeing a push from UK customers to buy British and hopefully us receiving the Made in Britain mark contributes to that cause even more.”
